Our Goals: Outreach-Advocacy-Recovery for our local vulnerable populations.
It is no secret that this population often suffers from mental illness, substance abuse, and/or chronic illness. The lack of a permanent mailing address, contact stability and general upheaval makes navigating the SSI/SSDI application process very difficult, if not impossible.
Our model allows an advocate or disability representative (EDPNA) to step in and assist in gathering information, filing forms, collecting medical data, and writing medical summaries that present a complete picture for the SSA.
The greatest reward is getting people off the streets and offering them the opportunity to have sustainable housing. The hope that follows is that benefit recipients will then have the ability and the desire to take care of whatever chronic issues they may suffer from and to do it from a place called home.
MONTHLY FUND MANAGEMENT assistance
We will help you set up your initial budget and savings plans to help you get and stay housed; working with our teams to keep you in the home you deserve. If you need help obtaining a Representative Payee, we can help with that, too.
HOUSING SERVICES
We will work with you to find a living space that works within your budget. Getting you home is our goal.
PROJECT MANAGeMENT
With over 25 years of Project Management experience, our Team Leader, René Evans will oversee all facets of helping you get to a point of stabilization. Our goal is to get you housed and sustainable as quickly as possible. If we find we cannot assist you - we will refer you to someone who can.
